they call it a "fly" because it takes you up to heaven

so in annals of small victories, i can finally say i have overcome the rediculous prerquisites set forth by my gm. now all i have to do is manage to stay sane for the next two months. oh, i also need get him to sign the paper affirming what he said he would do. i swear to everything holy, if he does not sign it now, and if i can restrain myself from kicking him in the face. i suppose will have resort to calling the useless department of hr to accomplish more of nothing. honestly though, if he refuses to sign it again, and hr also does nothing, then i will wish very hard for the store to burn to the ground with him inside.

at the end the month (september), i am going to visit my family in evansville. it will be around the time my niece will be having her second birthday. hopefully by that time, i will have finally received my money from the i.r.s., but at this point i really do not expect to see it until april of next year. i figure at this point, they are working in tandem with f.e.m.a. regardless, i have not seen my family in quite a while, and i think this would be the perfect opportunity. plus, i missed her first birthday last year, but only because i was at work. this year i plan to take off for that week, so that i have plenty of time travel there and a few days to visit. also, the last weeke of september will also be my last week with my current store. coincidence? i think not.

i reckon it is again my turn to win some or learn some

ok, so as far as i can tell, the human resources department for best buy is at best inefficient. i guess the only humans they are inerested in helping must be in a certain pay bracket. even though i am clearly being mistreated at my store, and i have tried to amicably remove myself from a bad situation. my gm has unnecessarily blocked me at every turn. i attempted to so through hr, but, because there are in fact worthless to me as an employee, simply sided with him doing no investigation what-so-ever. as a result, two actions will happen. technically three, although being a disgruntled employee is in direct relation to my transfer to this location.

step one is that i am going to make vague hints as to whether or not i will be working there anymore. the other is tear down his wall of lies that he has built. mostly the fact that he sees me as a valuable employee. now it may be true that i am a good employee, but i hav yet to receive a raise or promotion for it. i find it hard to believe that he finds me to be such a great employee, but the only paperwork he has to show it is a negative counseling. on top of, he denied me the full time position for which i had transferred. he claimed there was no longer the availability of that full time position. then he immediately relinquished that same position to another employee. afterwhich, he promoted that employee to supervisor of that department. do i sound valuable yet? let me add to the fact they also cut my hours, and were not even paying the standard pay rate set in the state. that's right, i moved from a state with a standard/cost of living. also something that i was offerred before i transferred, but never given.

how about now? not valuable enough, i will continue. to add to that, he put me on a final notice for my first incident, ever! in my entire history with best buy i had yet to be written. i am at his store for less than three-months and i am on a final?! so eventually, i manage to get out of that spot he forced me into, by the way, i had already contacted hr about this. you will be amazed to know that nothing came of it. i took a position, one that i really enjoy for the most part.

the supervisor transferred to a different. was that position offerred to me? no. was it offerred to one of the warehouse seniors? no. it was in fact given to an employee who had never even worked in the warehouse. as the supevisor, he had no training for the department. in fact, the gm in question said this person was "incappable of doing the job", and cited this as reason for denying me a transfer. yes that is what he said. he told me he hired someone incappable of doing the job he hire him for. apparently, none of these are reasons to suspect any behavior as out of the ordinary. so my goal for the next two months is to contact hr daily until some investigation is actually commenced.

1/3 The Critic - From Chunk to Hunk

a coworker and i were talking about this at work. a common running gag from the tv show was the kid from easter island. i don't even know how i got on the subject, because as result we began talking about the scene featuring him about halfway through.

i'm back

a breif vlog about not vlogging for in so long. i also mention a wii peripheral or two.

i liked you before you knew me

i am sorry for the lack of updates. the crap i have been dealing with at work has been consuming my free time. because i am not being allowed to transfer, i have resolved that it would simply be in best interest to simply quit. i have no respect for the person i am working for, and he has been the center of all my major problem since i transferred to this store last year. my full time position was taken away, it was him. they cut my hours via his instructions. when they practically forced me to take another position in the store, he was behind that as well. now this, i just cannot imagine working for him any longer. at any rate, i am still waiting to hear back from hr on the current matter since it has yet to reach a resolution. hopefully, that will involve me having a second job, and not just replacing my current one. i also plan to contact hr daily, since they seem to rest on their laurels when it comes their job, and quite frankly i do not have the time or patience to deal with it anymore. at any rate, my bus time has been primarily spent browsing for the classifieds for new vocations.
