aint supposed to die on a saturday night

the good news is that another week is drawing to a close. the bad news is that still have not received a check from the irs. if i do not have one tomorrow when i get home from work, i suppose i will have to call them yet again. i am not sure if have mentioned this or not, but recently another letter arrived from the irs telling me that should have received my money from them by now. the obvious flaw with this is the fact that is like the fourth notice that i should have received my money from them. if they honeslty thought they had sent me money, i doubt they would keep sending me letters to remind me of that. then again, this is a government agency, that may actually be someone"s job to sit around all day and mail defunct notices to people.

the reason i need to call them tomorrow, is that i have been informed (via the letter) that i should receive the my check within two weeks of the of that notice. a brief glance at my previous post would show that i have been told that i had to wait two more weeks on multiple occasions prior to this one. this is the great part, by my count it has been about eighteen weeks. that is just a tad over the two week mark. oddly enough, whenever i call i am told that the person has misinformed me. then they apparently go on to misinform me as well. it is like i am in that movie labrynth where i have a choice between the two doors, i can only ask one question to pick the right door, and one of the doors always lies while the other is consistantly truthful. i guess i keep picking the wrong door. to be perfectly honest with you, i am pretty sure she fell into a pit when she picked the right door. so perhaps it is also a no win situation. like cleveland brown said, "nobody actually wins, you just do a little better every time around."

i'm breaking my back but it's all good

i am so tired this morning. i have been trying to go to bed earlier, but at some point i realize this is impossible because then i have a less than productive day. i work at least eight hours through the week. that is pretty standard. i have an appauling fours of travel on the bus system. pending that the bus that i am on at the start of my trpis, does not cause me to miss the bus i need to complete the run. so we are looking at twelve hours being spent on just work alone. so much like when i was in school, i try to use my bus time to do any tasks that can be done there, blogging, reading the paper etc... in order to get the optimal number of sleep hours, i need to cut out another eight hours. tha leaves me four hours a day to do things. of course, in the morning i use forty-five of this to actually get ready for and eat breakfast. longer if i did not make my meals the night before. toss in dinner prep and consumption, and i am looking at about two hours of free time. so it very unrealistic to think i can do anything during the week. things that typically this means i either have to go to bed with unfinished tasks, something that will surely result in me not being able to sleep. i can just complete things and sacrifice the sleep time. i usually avoid doing them until the weekend if at all possible. because of the gas hikes, some employers have considered a four day work week. if that ever happenned to me, i would have to shoot someone in the face. presumbly that geeksquad guy because he deserves. he is in the mac cult.

never had a love like this

since i was not able to recover my binder, i will have to order a new one from playstation. not really a big issue, i just kind of wish that if someone was going to steal it that they could have at least turned in the paperwork from the binder. did they really need that? at any rate that is pretty much the conclusion of that.

i have to start planning for my trip to indiana at the end of september. i know most people do not plan so far ahead for what will essentially be a weekend at my family's house. knowing me as well as i do, the longer i wait to do something, the more potential it has of going disasterously wrong. i am not even sure you can use disasterous as an adverb, but i did it anyway.

i also think i really need to acquire some geeking out friends. people i can just hang out with on the weekends for movies, tv, video games and the like. i really have not made many friends since i have made it back to milwaukee. so my weekends are rather banal.

i was reading a story in the paper about people who have decided to change their methods of transportation to work. of course many people had changed from cars to motorcycles, which would be the more obvious choice. others have taken to biking. one gentleman even complained because they are just barely getting a bike rack. he also mentioned that he has to plan to arrive early enough to shower when he gets to work. hold the fucking phone! you have a shower at work and you are honestly griping about bike racks? i wish my job had a shower there, trust me, some of our employees could use it. this douche bag probably is not even one of the many people who feeling the pinch from gas prices. he probably chose to ride a bike because he finally figured out that a gas guzzling s.u.v. is not the vehicle best suited for city traffic. seeing how the market is so saturated right now with other morons who are coming to the very same conclusion, make it highly unlikely that he can sell it. "i have plan to shower at work", stfu you big crybaby. you have a shower at work, how dare you complain about that. some people are having to choose whether or not to buy groceries or the gas that it will cost to get those groceries home to feed their families, and you are crying about waking up early. i hope he dies of ass cancer.

'cause andy you're a star in nobodies eyes but mine

so i got a chance to call back to the bus station to check up on the location of my binder. no dice, it does not appear to have made it there. so i guess i will ask the driver of that route if he saw it, since he is pretty regular. i am not certain if he would remember, but it could not hurt much to ask. the binder is not really important and can easily be replaced. i cannot replace the paperwork inside which was primarily a layout of the task i had to complete before we actually have our inspection. i technically could replace it, but it would take far too much time to do so. at this point, with only five weeks left and only ten actually days for me to do any of the work that i need to schedule, and the fact that i am a day behind due to a printer malfuncion. i will just go with saying that they are not able to be replaced, and just wing the rest of the set ups.
