this was not the way i planned, not my intention

ok, i was completely exhausted when i got home from work yesterday. between getting up super early and not going to bed early enough, i seem to have overloaded my system. so i took a nap to refresh a bit. anybody who knows me, knows why me taking a nap is silly. i tend to just sleep instead. so when i took a nap yesterday, i woke up at four this morning. i had to be up at four-thirty, so i went back to sleep until my alarm went off. another great thing about my phone, the alarm does not have be set every day. i can just set it for the entire week at the hours i need. is there an alarm clock that does the same thing? is there is, then i need to purchase one.

ok, katy perry finally has dropped her album. it gives me the impression that i am listening to lost tracks from pink. most notably misunderstood. you know, the one where she changes her hair from pink to black, and gets all goth. needless to say, if liked "i kissed a girl" i think you will enjoy the rest of her cd. however, i think motley crue cd was kind of weak. with the exception of "saints of los angeles", i feel the rest of the cd seems to be lacking in comparison. perhaps this is why they changed the title of album to "saints of los angeles" from "dirt". i am not saying that the rest of the songs are dirt by any means, but this was clearly on situation where they put the best track in the foreground. i feel the same about coldplay's latest. both seemed very enticing from the title tracks, but there was not much substance after that.

on the work news forecast. i think this whole thing has gotten out of control. so much so, that manager involved is supposed be encouraged by outside forces. did he ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe he might be being a total dick about the situation. oh, by the way, a third person has been added to the list of people who wanted to transfer. i am not sure what his deal is exactly, but like i said, i think it getting out of hand. i am not sure if i mentioned this before, but he has personal issues with one of the managers at the new store. he also thinks that she is trying to recruit and steal people from his store. which stupid because i do not even think she knows the third person involved. at any rate, i think it has come to the point where hr needs to be contacted. i know they are holding a spot for me there, and he has essentially proven to me that he can not handle the responsibilty of his job. i will try to list the results of my efforts.

so it is my first morning back on the bus since i moved to my new place. i have got to tell you, i am not entirely thrilled about the whole thing. considering that i may be doing this for quite a while, at least until fall. i told myself last year when i moved up here that i would not spend another winter without a car. i plan to live up to that. although, honestly, there are a lot of better ways i can spend four-hours of my day other than traveling to and from work. the only positive i am taking away from this is the fact that my morning bus blogs can resume. the difference being that i now have almost three times as much bus trip in which to do it. i do not know that i will have that much to talk about. another positive is that i will be able to become reaquainted with my nintendo ds. something negative that i noted, the mosquito population in the area will more than likely drive me mad.

regarding work, my new supervisor (and, with all due respect to my previous supe, i use the term lightly) begins today. at least, i think he i supposed to begin today. although, i am not entirely sure, because he got the position for a job he does not have the availabilty to cover. does that make sense to anyone else? i mean who says, "well, you are nowhere near being qualified, and you cannot work the required hours needed for this position. how soon can you start?" it is like the world has gone mad. due to the exceptions being made for him, i now have the ability to request more "accomadating" hours. well, they accommadate me at any rate. i swear on my samsung blackjack mark II, that if my request is denied, then i am calling hr to report the preferrential treatment.

also, in regards to hr, it has come to my attention that a number of employees from the warehouse have been put on the proverbial chopping block. one of the managers at my store has made it known, that several warehouse workers are going to be fired pending the departure of the now former supe. i am going on blogosphere record and saying that i know about their plans, and if even one person leaves the warehouse, i am reporting them to hr. this is clearly premeditated, shady behavior. i do not think they counted on there being so many gossips at work.

if you are curious why i am not going to hr yet. this is how our hr works, if you call them and report your leadership, they immediately call your leadership and snitch on you. that is right, the very people you are complaining about, are the same people to which they report. does that make any sense? how does that solve anything? that is like the principle of school, calling a bully, to let them know you dropped the dime about being beat up between classes. wtf?! so, the way i see it, if i call and alert them now, it will only be giving them the advantage of knowing in advance. that is not how i rodeo.

on a completely un-work related note. my favorite thing about my phone is that i learn all kinds of things about it everyday. i find that exciting, and omg gawd. is this chick putting on her make-up using her phone? gawd help us all. oh, and it is time for me to get a second job. fuck the i.r.s.!

you should go on and make a mountain out of it

ok so i am in desperate need of water in the house. i am down to two remaining bottles. i was going to stop at sam's club on the way home, but that plan hinged solely upon whichever bus showed up first. so now i have one of three options. i can go to the sam's club on the southside. i can go to a closer grocery store and pay more for water of a brand i do not really want, and has smaller units per case. the third option is to pretty much to go without. considering how long it will take me to get home, this is the most likely, yet undesired option. oh, i could akso bitch about it for hours on end, but that will happen regardless of the other choices i make.

at work, i kind of feel like a prisoner during his minutes in the electric chair. i keep hoping at the last minute that i will get the call that would ultimately rescue me from my current predicament. i fear that midnight is drawing ever nearer. i am not sure how my manager thinks that i am going enjoy working for him after the douchebaggery he has pulled to prevent me from moving to a new store. in the end, one of two things will happen. either i will be able tranfer with enough time for them to find a suitable replacement, or at least a trainable one. he could also keep steady on the course he has plotted, i quit, get started as rehire at the other store, and he he ends up shit out of luck as far as a replacement goes. now i am speaking for myself when i say the latter sounds pretty moronic.

i got 2310 calories in a large heath shake from baskin robins, and a bitch aint one...

ok so yesterday i was supposed to go to gamestop and pick up the Deoxys download for my nintendo ds. which i fully intended to do. however, when i got there, it turns out that particular location did not get the update. so now i am making an additional trip out to the location they suggested i go to yesterday. if you are curious as to why i did not just go at that time. long story short, i had hitched a ride with my roommate to a burger king near the gamestop. honestly, i did not feel like asking him to give me a ride to the mall.

i am thoroughly enjoying the second season of the Boondocks on dvd. thanks to everyone involved with that show. i hope there is more good stuff to come. the dvds also include two episodes not aired in america. (land of the free indeed) i would like to think that it was because of some controvrsial material in the two episodes. in reality, i am pretty sure that the reason is that creators badmouth a certain station that provides "entertaining black television" and shall remain nameless. last thing that [adult swim] needs is another station to beef with.
