free stuff for those who game

i don't know how many of you out there are familiar with the website gaming lagoon, but pretty much they offer a lot of gaming related stuff for practically nothing. it's one of those things where you usually have to sign up for something, most of them are free as well, some are not. at any rate, you earn points for the products/services you sign up for, and then you can trade those points in for gaming goodies. points cards, monthly subscriptions to pc games, controllers! they've got tons of stuff on their site. i've used it to get some Wii Points cards as well as MS Points cards, and the best part about their prizes. if they can be sent via email, like points or membership codes, then you get them within minutes of ordering them from the site. ;D i just thought i'd let everyone know about this awesome opportunity to earn some free stuff. here's a link in case anyone is interested.

just click on the bar, and that should take you directly to their page.

I'm just a regular everyday normal guy...

some less than interesting things occurred since the last time i posted, and the month of January is almost gone. shockingly enough, it is apparently already to buy crap for Valentine's Day. i, for one, am actually tired of having a holiday every friggin' month. and if we are going to do that, why can't they all be like mardi gras? or st. patrick's day?

at any rate, my job at work may actually be changing, this time becuase i requested it, but for some reason i may have to apply for the position. strange, considering the current job i am doing in the store i did not even want to have, and i was not even asked if i wanted the job. how does that work? i mean honestly, they barely even told me that i was being moved to another job, i did not even find out until i asked why i stopped appearing on the schedule for the department i was working in at the time.

the laundry machines in the basement of my apartment buildings are working again, hurrah! i can finally wash my clothes again. i am not even sure what was exactly wrong with them, but i managed to go without wearing my standard uniform at work for the week past. but all that has been fixed now, and i have two checks for about a dollar each from the company who owns the washer.

i purchased my tickets for the trip to visit my family and friends in Evansville at the end of the month. i will probably be bringing back some more of my games, since i now have a wii and i can once again play my gamecube games. woo-hoo. the bad part of the bus saga is that i have to be at the station at four in the morning. i know that doesn't seem like a big whoop, but that pretty much i am going to have to sleep overnight at the station itself before the actual 15-hour ride to bfe indiana.

the new season of reno begins tonight, and i will also try to catch some of the futurama episodes on comedy central as well. although, as far as i can tell, they are all reruns for the moment. i would be playing sonic riders: zero gravity for the wii tonight, but the people from gamefly sent me a copy for the ps2. what the hell? on top of that, why do my games get shipped from california, when i know there is a distribution center much closer on this side of country. they make me want to cancel my subscription at times.

off for now, you would not believe the amount of laundry i still have left to do.
