so i am standing on the threshhold of mm pending transfer from my current job locale. i still have not reached the point where this has all become exciting. i'll give reason why, because it has not actually happenned yet. that is reason enough for me to believe that it will not ever happen. i cannot simply hope that things will work the way i plan them. my life is not that fortunate. if i hope and plan for things to just work themselves out, they seldom do. when i attempt to force something it usually ends up being worse. my life is essentially the premise of "that's so raven", except that i do not have unique ability to actually see vague snippets of the future.
the weekend was relatively standard, played some video games, watched some tv, forgot to get my bus pass for work. i had the chance to see a few more episodes of heroes, still a good show. i cannot believe that one season is so long. i mean each episode is roughly forty-five minutes long, and season one is about twenty-three episodes. that is quite a great deal of time.
i was running behind this morning, so i missed the first bus out. instead of waiting for the next bus to come along, i walked fifteen minutes to the "alternate route". i generally do not take this bus, even though it can potentially still get me to work on time. the last time i took it, however, it made me exceedingly late. late enough to make me think that walking to the busstop was the better option. do not misunderstand, walking is not a bad thing, i do it all day at work. it is probably one of the last things i want to do early in the morning.
some good news, the guy currently holding down the position at the store i am transferring to is doing a bad job. i guess that does not sound like good news, but it does make me a better candidate. there are is something very important about my job that you is kind of a must. my job is one of those "somebodies gotta do it" types, and it suits because it is indireclty customer service related. it is like being one of those guys in the film credits that you are not quite sure what there job is, but they are not the dooughnut guy. so when i say my job is important, it is, but it is only notable when i am doing it wrong. if you are doing things correctly, then nothing will stand out to make others take notice. they noticed a few things about the new guy. needless to say, he was doing something wrong. which brings me to the one thing you must do in my position, and the thing is to never make up imaginary product that you cannot locate. it is a terrible thing for the store.
