it's gettin' much harder to say "no" and even harder to say "yes"

i founf out something interesting today about the pick'n save stores in my area. the first being there are more nearby than i had expected. the other being that the one physically closer to my house is requires a longer bus trip to get there. it takes at least fifteen extra minutes to get to than the one that i could litterally walk to in about thirty minutes. strange as that may seem, there are various reasons i do not simply walk to the closer one. for example, today it is raining, and would really rather spend as much time as possible under some sort of cover. in addition to that, getting there would not be all that much of a challange, but carrying two-arms full of groceries is an entirely different matter.

one of my less than legitimate gripes of late has been with the vitamin water commercials. not only are they one of the worst bottled waters you can buy on the market today. not only do they taste like watered down kool-aid. on top of these reasons, they claim that they essentially can make celebrities successful. and, until the recent appearence of carrie underwood, all of the ads victims had been black celebrities. i say victims because that is how they are portrayed. they were only capable of being basketball players and rappers until vitamin water unlocked their full potential. again the exception to this is carrie, who apparently starts as a country singer, and ends up becoming a hillbilly. to be honest i did not notice much of a difference.

oh, i also remembered my mental notes. mental notes are written reminders to myself on whatever paper i happen to be packing around at the time. amazingly, even though i call them "mental notes", they are typically things i feel i have very little chance of remembering in the first place.
