on a slightly sadder, and completely unrelated note. a man shot his eight year old son in the chest with a twelve gauge shotgun. apparently he thought he son was a turkey. wtf? who mistakes an eith year old for a turkey. i wish i was making this up (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,351877,00.html) even an eight year old can tell other eight year olds apart from turkeys. i'm not pointing this out to make light of the situation, because this is seriously messed and unbelievable. but at what point did he go wrong and end up pointing a shotgun at his kid anyway. i mean he could have said he thought it was just some animal, but a turkey? i can't imagine that, i mean i just don't get it. i've got to say, there have been far too many accidental shootings of children in the past year for me not to think they are anything but accidental. the police say they are investigating, but i bet it won't go very far. i mean look at the Ramsey's.
